MCAT study plan

Th MCAT and other graduate entry exams require intensive study. So here are a couple of tips. There is not just one way of preparing for these exams. Some popular options that people do to prepare for these types of exams are; Self study, Prep course (online or in person), and one on one studying. The typical preparation time is about three months. This time includes usually studying from an exam prep book set, taking practice exams and building good strategy for you to conquer your exam.

This is an example of someones two week schedule of someone using a study book. They went through about two or three chapters every day of different subjects, which includes doing practice problems. This person is studying along with being in school which is possible. It is important that you know yourself and allow yourself enough time to study and practice.

Another example of what your study plan might look like.

Extra Tips

  • Focus on your weak areas

  • Take multiple FULL length exams

  • Work on timing yourself

  • Adjust your study plan to be realistic
